When little girls play dress-up in their mom’s clothes, they often dream of becoming the woman behind the designs. Dawn Wilson, of 15th and Reed streets, lives her dream every day.

“I initially went into art education. I loved fashion and my Great Aunt Eleanor was a dressmaker and I was inspired from her and my mother because my mother used to wear all the clothes my aunt made,” Wilson, 50, said.
